ANNE-MORGANE BARRAULT

ANNE-MORGANE is an attorney at law and a member of the Nantes Bar. She has been practicing in the field of Intellectual Property since 2012



After completing a Baccalaureate in science, Anne-Morgane decided to study law.

She gained a DESS postgraduate degree in European Business Law and a Master 2 in Innovation Law. She then worked as a Lecturer-Researcher under contract with the University of Paris XI for five years. In this context, she collaborates in particular with the Centre de recherche en Droit Privé (Research Centre for Private Law) and the Centre de Recherche en Droit de l'immatériel (CERDI, Research Centre for Intangible Law).

Eager to use her knowledge to serve businesses, she decided to become an Attorney. After spending a several months with a solicitor to familiarise herself with the particularities of the appeals procedure, she joined Cabinet Benech.

She is currently in charge of the firm's Nantes office.

In this context, she advises and supports companies and individuals in securing and developing their rights, through the negotiation and drafting of contracts (partnership, co-ownership, licence agreements, transfer agreements, etc.) and through the valuation of intellectual property assets, assists them in litigation (counterfeiting, opposition, unfair competition/parasitism, etc.) before the various jurisdictions (Courts, INPI, EUIPO), and works on behalf of investors within the scope of pre-investment intellectual property audits (inventory, recommendations).

Inquisitive and open to all areas of creation, her favourite fields are biotechnologies, mechanics, and everything to do with computers and ICT. Anxious to keep pace with current changes in the judicial system and to provide the best possible support to the firm's clients, in 2018 she gained a degree in mediation.

Anne-Morgane is involved in various associative activities related to Intellectual Property. Notably, she is an active member of REPI (Réseau Entreprises et Propriété Intellectuelle dans l'Ouest, Network of Intellectual Property Businesses in the West), and a member of the Nantes Initiative Innovation Committee.

She works with Frédéric Benech in the context of the Master 2 in Intellectual Property at the Faculty of Law, Nantes.
