ALEXANDRE JACQUET

Attorney at law (Paris Bar)

Alexandre is an attorney at law and a member of the Paris Bar. He has been practicing in the field of Intellectual Property since 2004

After studying law in Lyon (Master’s in business law), Alexandre earned a postgraduate degree in industrial property law at CEIPI (Centre D’études International de la Propriété Intellectuelle, Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies) in 2001.

Subsequently, the CNB (Conseil National des Barreaux) issued Alexandre with a certificate of specialisation in intellectual property law. After starting his professional career in a law firm dedicated to Soft IP litigation, Alexandre joined the firm in 2006 to incorporate patent law into his practice, which he has been doing for nearly 15 years.

His work is now multi-disciplinary (patent, trademark, design, copyright, IT), which he greatly appreciates, working in the context of registering and managing industrial property rights worldwide, drafting contracts, consulting and litigation.

A partner since 2013, Alexandre, like the rest of the firm, attaches great importance to team work and sharing experience and skills between industrial property consultants and attorneys. He believes that complementary benefits between the technical and legal aspects of IP go beyond those of patent litigation.

Alexandre is a member of several professional associations (AIPPI, APRAM, APEB, ACE and AAPI).

He is jointly responsible for the Paris Bar's open committee on Patents and Trade Secrecy and chairman of the ACE's intellectual property committee, which he has been leading for several years.

Alexandre also co-leads the Contracts in Patent Law and Confidentiality training modules of the IEEPI (European Enterprise and Intellectual Property Institute).

He is co-author of the Manual "International Intellectual Patent Litigation.
